Chihiro Kawakami was born in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. He is an artist of Edo Washcloth, known for Fujiya in Asakusa. As a washcloth-artist he is engaged in cloth making the Sanjamatsuri and so on. In the Kabuki- and Rakugo-Worlds he has many lovers.
